Coyote Oaks Vineyards got her name from the shy little dog that was caught sleeping near the back door of the vineyard estate early one morning. This little creature dashed to safety through the vineyard, to hide underneath the weeping limbs of the 300 year old oak trees. This shy little four legged friend was none other than a local coyote who frequently visits our vineyards.
